Kremlin Denies Epstein's Connection to Putin: Details
The Kremlin has stated that American financier Jeffrey Epstein did not propose a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was announced by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian president, in response to an inquiry from RTVI.
It is noted that Putin's name appears multiple times in Epstein's documents, primarily in news articles exchanged between the financier and his interlocutors. Epstein’s emails also indicate that he attempted several times to arrange a meeting with Putin, including in 2011 and 2014, but these efforts did not yield results.
At the end of January, the U.S. Department of Justice released an additional 3 million pages of documents related to the Jeffrey Epstein case, as well as over 2,000 videos and 180,000 photographs. Some of the materials, including personal information regarding the victims, have been redacted.
