The President Cannot Exclude It. Medvedev on the Use of the Nuclear Button

Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, has indicated that it is impossible for the president of a nuclear power to completely exclude the possibility of using the nuclear button.

"Anyone who has agreed to run for and been elected as the president of a nuclear power cannot exclude this. Otherwise, they are obliged to resign," Medvedev said in an interview with TASS, Reuters, and the Vargonzo project.
