Kallas Admits: Europe is Defenseless Without the US

The European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaia Kallas, has agreed with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte's statement that Europe is currently unable to secure its own safety without the support of the United States.

Kallas made this announcement during a press conference held in Oslo while responding to reporters' questions. At the same time, the EU high representative noted that the Union is taking steps to change the situation.

According to her, member states are increasing investments in the defense sector with the aim of strengthening European defense capabilities. Kallas emphasized that this process requires time, but it has already begun and is among the priority issues on the EU's agenda.
