Hamas Issues Statement: Ready to Transfer Control of Gaza

Hamas has completed all necessary procedures for the transfer of control over Gaza. This was announced by Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem, referencing Al Jazeera.

According to him, Hamas is prepared to hand over the governance of Gaza to the National Government.

A committee composed of various factions of Palestinian society will oversee the transfer process. "We call on all parties to support the committee's restoration and reconstruction efforts," said the Hamas spokesperson.

It has been noted that according to an agreement mediated by the United States, a Palestinian technocratic government consisting of 15 members is supposed to assume control over Gaza from Hamas and oversee the region.
