Bitcoin Price Drops Sharply

According to data from the cryptocurrency exchange Binance, the price of Bitcoin has fallen below $75,000 for the first time since April 7, 2025. As of 6:40 AM Moscow time, Bitcoin has decreased by 5.26%, reaching a price of $74,646.

On October 5, Bitcoin surpassed its all-time high, exceeding $125,000. By 8:11 AM Moscow time, the price climbed to $124,900, marking an increase of 1.97%. Just three minutes later, the price rose to $125,180. The previous record was set on August 14, 2025, when the cryptocurrency was valued at $124,470.

Bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency based on blockchain technology. Its supply is significantly limited, with most coins already in circulation. The concept of Bitcoin was first introduced in 2008 by an author or group of authors using the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto.
