Ukraine Will Not Surrender Donbas and Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, Zelensky

Ukraine is not prepared to make compromises that would violate its territorial integrity. “We will not hand over Donbas and the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant to the Russians without a fight,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated, according to media reports.

He noted that the territorial issue remains the most complicated aspect of the conflict resolution process, as the parties have yet to reach a final decision. Zelensky added that the position of “staying where we are” regarding the cessation of hostilities is the least problematic; however, such matters should be resolved at the leadership level.
