Road Conditions in Armenia

As of January 29, at 9:00 AM, all inter-state and republican highways in Armenia are open. Organizations responsible for road maintenance continue their work on clearing and treating the roads with salt and sand. This information is reported by the Road Department.

The Vardenyats Pass is impassable for vehicles with trailers, requiring the use of tire chains. There is fog on the roads in the Ashtarak region, with visibility reduced to 80-100 meters. Snow is falling in the regions of Yeghegnadzor, Vayk, Sisian, and Kapan.

The Road Department urges drivers to be cautious, strictly adhere to traffic rules, and travel exclusively with winter tires.
