Truck Falls Off Road and Rolls into Gorge; One Injured - Ministry of Emergency Situations

On January 24, at 18:03, the Crisis Management Center of the Tavush Regional Rescue Service received a call reporting a traffic accident on the Berd-Vehin Karmiraghbyur highway, where a vehicle had rolled into a gorge and was on fire. Emergency responders were needed.

A fire and rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue service was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that a 'ZIL' brand truck had veered off the roadway and rolled approximately 20 meters down the gorge, igniting upon impact.

The driver was transported to a medical center by local forces. The fire was contained by 18:24 and extinguished by 18:50, damaging the vehicle's spare tire and battery section partially.
