High Price of Liquid Gas is Unacceptable: Gevorg Papoyan

The high price of liquid gas is unacceptable; in my assessment, it has both objective and subjective aspects. This was stated by Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan on his Facebook page.

“We are actively working to ensure that new batches arrive quickly and the price decreases. The price will indeed decrease, including through the launch of railway transportation,” he noted.

Gevorg Papoyan also provided figures indicating that the prices of gasoline and diesel fuel continue to decline. “Gasoline price at the beginning of December was 510 AMD/liter, now it is 430 AMD/liter. The difference is 80 AMD/liter or -15.7%. Diesel fuel price at the beginning of December was 480 AMD/liter, now it is 410 AMD/liter. The difference is 70 AMD/liter or -14.6%. One of the major networks of gas stations, which has also acquired Azerbaijani petroleum products, will begin selling this fuel at lower prices in the coming days,” he stated.
