The death toll from recent unrest in Iran has reached 3117. This was reported by the Iranian state television. This figure, published by the TV channel, is the first official data provided by the Iranian authorities since the protests that began in late December 2025. The government had previously acknowledged the deaths of "several thousand" people but had not disclosed an exact number of casualties.
