Fraudsters Present Themselves as Central Bank Employees

Fraudsters often send this photo to our citizens, presenting themselves as employees of the Central Bank and forcing them to withdraw all funds from their bank accounts and transfer them to foreign accounts.

This information was provided by the Cyber Police of the Republic of Armenia.

“Dear citizens, do not transfer your money to other accounts based on phone calls made in the name of law enforcement agencies. Call the police, verify the information, and ultimately ask yourself why I should send my money to another account at the request of an unknown person over the phone,” the message states.
