A Powerful Storm Expected in Most of the Mediterranean Sea: Levon Azizyan

A powerful storm is expected in most of the Mediterranean Sea. This was stated by Levon Azizyan, the director of the Hydro-Meteorological Monitoring Center, on his Facebook page.

“At the beginning of next week, wind gusts will exceed 110 km/h across a wide area, leading to gigantic waves taller than 6 meters, which could cause significant damage to coastal areas. Such intense wave activity across such a vast area is relatively rare in the Mediterranean Sea,” he noted.
