Iran Arrests Six Soldiers Involved in Unrest in Kerman

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), an elite unit of Iran's armed forces, announced on Thursday the arrest of six soldiers involved in organizing unrest and riots in the western part of the Islamic Republic. The main intelligence agency of Kerman province stated, “The six main organizers of the riots and terrorist attacks in Kerman city have been identified and arrested. The arrests were made by members of the IRGC's special unit,” as reported by Iran's state broadcaster IRIB.
