I Am Ready to Offer Messi Any Amount. President of Al-Ittihad
The president of Saudi Arabia's Al-Ittihad football club, Anmar Al-Khaili, has announced his willingness to sign a contract with Lionel Messi, according to Vesti.kz.
The Argentine extended his contract with Inter Miami until the end of 2028 in the autumn of 2025, making his transfer extremely unlikely. However, the door is open for Messi in Saudi Arabia.
"If Messi is ready to move to Al-Ittihad, I will offer him a contract where he can earn any amount. For any duration, even for his entire life. Money is not important to me; I want to sign a contract with Messi, the greatest footballer in history," the official was quoted as saying by The Touchline.
Messi is a product of Barcelona, where he played from 2003 to 2021. After leaving the Catalan club, the forward spent two seasons at Paris Saint-Germain. He has been playing for Inter Miami since the summer of 2023.
Additionally, it's worth noting that Messi's eternal rival, Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, plays in the Saudi Arabian league for Al-Nassr.
