Police Department Releases Statement

The Police Department has provided an operational report on the situation in the Republic for January 12-13.

A total of 162 crimes were discovered, of which 5 were previously committed. Specifically, the following cases were uncovered:

• 50 cases of driving by individuals without the right to drive, having their rights suspended, or not having the right.
• 14 cases of causing bodily harm.
• 12 cases of drug detection.
• 10 cases of mental influence.
• 9 cases of theft of personal property.
• 6 cases each of physical assault and forgery of documents.
• 5 cases of fraud.
• 4 cases of drug trafficking.
• 3 cases each of embezzlement of entrusted property, confiscation of weapons and ammunition, and discovery of cold weapons.
• 2 cases each of destruction or damage to property, failing to pay taxes and dues, and illegal hunting of aquatic animals.
• Various cases involving violations of safety regulations, vehicle theft, hooliganism, cruelty to animals, abuse of authority in the private sector, bribery in the private sector, illegal arms trafficking, distribution of counterfeit alcoholic beverages for sale, and breaches of confidentiality.

In terms of previously committed crimes, 4 cases of theft of personal property and 1 case of causing bodily harm were uncovered.

A total of 20 wanted individuals were located, with 3 voluntarily presenting themselves. Additionally, 1 missing person was found. There were 8 recorded incidents of the voluntary surrender of weapons and ammunition.

Traffic accident statistics indicate that 6 accidents occurred over the past day, resulting in 9 individuals sustaining varying degrees of bodily injuries.
