NATO Cannot Make Decisions Regarding Greenland Without US Approval, German Defense Minister
NATO allies cannot make any decisions regarding Greenland without the knowledge of the United States. Nevertheless, European countries will continue to discuss measures to ensure the island's security, stated German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius.
“We consider Greenland to be part of NATO, and its defense is regarded as a NATO mission,” the German minister's words were quoted by TASS.
