Argument and Stabbing over Snowball Throwing

On the evening of January 9, the Shirak regional operational management center of the Police received a report from the "Gyumri" medical center that a teenager with stab wounds to the thigh and chest had been transported for medical assistance from Tigran Mets Avenue in Gyumri.

An operational group from the Mush division of the community police quickly clarified that the 17-year-old boy had been stabbed. The most peculiar aspect was the cause of the argument that preceded the stabbing.

A criminal case was initiated, and through measures taken within its framework, it was determined that around 6:30 PM, a dispute had arisen between two teenagers over snowball throwing, in which their friends, including the victim, intervened. The argument that continued at the rear of the building escalated into a scuffle and fight, during which a 17-year-old boy stabbed the victim with a folding knife he had on him.

The assailant has been arrested, confessed to the act, and has been presented to the pre-trial authorities.
