EU Can Offer Nothing but Hate Towards Russia, Says Fico

The European Union can offer nothing but hate towards Russia, stated Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, as reported by RIA Novosti.

According to Fico, if the EU does not reconsider its approaches, it will lose the ability to respond to various challenges. He pointed out that the EU's competitiveness is diminishing, member states are unable to agree on joint defense matters, and in foreign policy, everyone looks to the United States for guidance.

Previously, he suggested that Kaja Kallas be removed from her position as the EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy. He claimed that the EU cannot respond in a timely manner to crises and lacks a coherent stance on world events.
