Fire Erupts on Moscow–Yerevan Flight
A fire erupted during a flight from Moscow to Yerevan. The incident occurred on flight 3F324 operated by FlyOne Armenia while approaching Yerevan.
According to the Telegram channel SHOT, the fire broke out in the hand luggage of one of the passengers. Eyewitnesses report that the aircraft's crew responded quickly to the situation, successfully extinguishing the flames with three fire extinguishers.
The preliminary cause of the fire is believed to be the ignition of a power bank located in the bag. The circumstances of the incident are currently under investigation.
It has been reported that there were no injuries as a result of the incident, and the flight path was not altered. The aircraft safely landed at Yerevan Airport.
