Call for our spiritual brothers and sisters to support the Mother See and the Supreme Patriarch: A statement
We, the current and former chairpersons of the youth organizations of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church of the Ararat Patriarchal Diocese, express our full support and filial humility towards the Mother See and His Holiness Karekin II, the Supreme Patriarch of All Armenians. This statement was issued by the youth organizations of the Ararat Patriarchal Diocese.
"It is evident that today the Holy Armenian Church is under attack from various forces and groups controlled from outside... As always, during these times of trial, we stand firmly with our Mother Church as faithful servants. We will continue to pray and work for the unity and steadfastness of our Holy Church.
We condemn the involvement of individuals with governmental resources and leverage in this campaign, which undermines the credibility of the state. We urge our brothers and sisters within the Armenian Church to be profound and vigilant, not allowing division within the Church.
In supporting the clergy serving in the Patriarchal Diocese, we ask them and pray to God to remain steadfast in their calling and order, which they have taught us.
We call upon our spiritual brothers and sisters responsible for youth organizations within the dioceses of Armenia, Artsakh, and outside of Armenia to extend their support to the Mother See and the Supreme Patriarch.
