Vardenyats Pass Impassable for Vehicles with Trailers

As of January 9 at 16:00, snow is falling in the regions of Ashtarak, Aparan, Aragats, Hrazdan, Sevan, Gavar, Dilijan, Martuni, Talin, Ani, Artik, Akhuryan, Ashotik, and Amasia, while mixed rain and snow is reported in the Baghramyan region. This was reported by the Road Department.

The Vardenyats Pass is impassable for vehicles with trailers.

There are patches of black ice on the roads in the regions of Aparan, Aragats, Artik, Jambarak, Martuni, Gavar, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Nairi, Sisian, Goris, Ashotik, and Amasia.

All international and national roads are open. Road construction workers are carrying out clearing and salt-sand treatment on the roads.
