Reza Pahlavi to Trump: People Will Be in the Streets in One Hour, Be Ready to Intervene
The son of the overthrown Shah of Iran, Reza Pahlavi, has made a public plea to U.S. President Donald Trump. The appeal was published on the social media platform X.
“I have called on people to take to the streets to fight for their freedom. Last night they did just that. Your threat to this criminal regime has also kept its thugs from acting. But time is of the essence. In one hour, people will take to the streets again. I am asking for assistance. You have proven, and I know you are a man of the world and of words. Please, be ready to intervene; the people of Iran need help,” Pahlavi wrote on X.
At the same time, it is noted that by “assistance,” Pahlavi essentially refers to possible strikes against Iran, which Trump previously mentioned in response to the violence against protesters.
