Germany's Foreign Ministry Response to Second Oil Supply from Azerbaijan to Armenia

A new batch of oil products has been sent from Azerbaijan to Armenia within the context of the trade and economic processes initiated between the two countries under a peaceful agenda. This was stated by Niklas Wagner, the director responsible for Eastern Europe, the South Caucasus, and Central Asia, in a post on the X platform.

“Yesterday, another batch of oil was dispatched from Azerbaijan to Armenia, which is the second batch in less than a month. It is seen as an important step towards the normalization of trade relations in the region,” stated Niklas Wagner.

Wagner emphasized that such developments could contribute to the stabilization of mutual economic ties. It is worth noting that the day before, a total of 2,698 tons of cargo was sent to Armenia from Azerbaijan's Balajari station via 48 wagons. The delivered oil products included 1,742 tons of AI-95 gasoline and 956 tons of diesel fuel.

Additionally, it should be mentioned that the export of oil products from Azerbaijan to Armenia began on December 18 of the previous year as part of the established peaceful agenda between the two countries.
