Black Ice Reported on Roads

The Road Department reports that as of January 5 at 9:00 AM, the Noravan-Ltsen-Tatev and Ttujur-Navur roads, as well as the Vardenyats Pass, are closed to vehicles with trailers. Other vehicles are allowed to pass.

Black ice is present on certain sections of roads in the regions of Aparan, Aragats, Spitak, Tumanian, Tashir, Sevan, Jambarak, Martuni, Gavar, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Nairi, Vayk, Sisian, Goris, Ashotq, Amasia, and Vanadzor.

Interstate and national highways are open.
