The Number of Registered Vehicles in Armenia Reaches 1 Million: Arpine Sargsyan

The number of registered vehicles in Armenia has reached 1 million. This was stated by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Arpine Sargsyan, during the Q&A session of the 'Citizen Asks' program, while addressing the traffic jams in Yerevan.

The Minister reminded that the Yerevan Municipality is responsible for organizing traffic in the capital, but added that they are in constant cooperation with the municipal authorities.

“This year we have managed to implement 31 changes proposed by the ministry, which has allowed us to increase the capacity of intersections. New changes cannot be ruled out,” she said.
