Torosyan on Reports of Providing Assistance to Citizens

Ofelya

A video is circulating on the internet, especially on TikTok, containing false information related to our sector. Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Arsen Torosyan stated this in a video posted on Facebook.

"The video is completely false information—created by artificial intelligence and clearly by non-Armenian speakers from foreign countries because the words are not in Armenian, they are not the Armenian we use. There are words in it that we don’t even use. Essentially, they spread it among the people, and the public hears the information claiming that some assistance is being provided. There are images of state officials in the video, and we are receiving hundreds of calls. Of course, we deny it, and we have also issued an official denial. This can be seen as part of a broader informational assault in which we find ourselves. The point is to generate additional dissatisfaction among citizens, as the video claims something is to be given to them, but then, of course, this is not the case, and citizens remain dissatisfied with the Government and the State. I urge you not to fall for this informational assault and manipulations; only follow official news outlets, because we share everything with our citizens, we hide nothing," the minister stated.
