Putin-Aliyev Conversation Was Very Warm and Friendly, Peskov

On Wednesday, a phone conversation took place between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Azerbaijani leader Ilham Aliyev, which was described by the press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, as very warm and friendly.

The parties exchanged views on the prospects for cooperation between the two countries. According to the Kremlin’s press service, the presidents reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the allied relations between their nations.

Peskov stated that both sides congratulated each other on the upcoming New Year celebrations and discussed the current situation.
