7,570,000 AMD Fine for Selling Underfilled Gas

The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission has imposed a fine of 7,570,000 AMD on 'Avet-Mher' LLC for selling underfilled natural gas.

Specifically, during the inspections conducted as part of the initiated proceedings, violations were discovered at the gas station operated by 'Avet-Mher' LLC, located at 13/1 Kamoy Street, Martuni, Gegharkunik Province. The detected deviations exceeded the permissible norm by 8 to 10 times.

For instance, the indicators reflected by the first pipe of the first gas distribution tower and the second pipe of the third gas distribution tower showed 3 kg, whereas the working reference sample reflected 2.75 kg, resulting in an actual deviation of 0.25 kg (8.33%), and 2.70 kg with an actual deviation of 0.30 kg (10%). The permissible deviation is set at 0.03 kg (1%).
