It is Misinformation: The Ministry of Defense Issues a Statement

The Ministry of Defense of Armenia has responded to the statement made by former Armed Forces member Naira Gevorgyan regarding an alleged incursion attempt by the adversary in the Meghri direction.

"The statement from an individual who has, to put it mildly, a disreputable service record in the Armed Forces is not only misinformation but yet another unsuccessful and failed attempt at an informational assault against the Republic of Armenia, its state institutions, and its army. We urge media partners to refrain from reproducing such fabrications and not to get involved in the disreputable process of creating hybrid threats around the Republic of Armenia. At the same time, we believe that the relevant authorities should also examine this statement and consider the possibility of providing a legal assessment of it," the Ministry of Defense's statement reads.
