Belarus Potassium Sanctions Lifted, Says Ribakov

The decision by Washington to lift sanctions against Belarus' potassium industry has come into effect, announced Belarus' permanent representative to the UN, Valentin Ribakov.

“As you heard today, Mr. (U.S. Special Envoy for Belarus John - ed.) Koole announced that a decision has been made to fully lift U.S. sanctions against Belarus' potassium industry. This decision has been made and will come into effect immediately, so to speak,” he stated after U.S.-Belarus negotiations in Minsk.
