European politicians are not discussing the radical causes of the conflict in Ukraine; they only want a ceasefire and a halt. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, as reported by RIA Novosti.

"We insist on reaching a package of agreements regarding a firm, stable, and long-term peace with security guarantees for all involved countries," the minister said.

He noted that Russian-American negotiations are particularly dedicated to searching for a long-term solution to the conflict. According to him, there is currently a lot of speculation and propaganda on this topic aimed at complicating the search for solutions.
