Trump Threatens Media Outlets

U.S. President Donald Trump has accused several American media outlets of defamation for publishing information about his deteriorating health, threatening to impose sanctions against them. He made this statement on Truth Social.

The American leader stated that he is successfully fulfilling his duties as head of state and undergoes frequent medical check-ups. According to Trump, despite all the time and effort invested, The New York Times and several other publications are 'pretending' that he lacks the mental acuity he once had or that his health has worsened.

'Even though they know it’s not true, that I work a lot, perhaps more than ever,' the Republican emphasized. The president called the media reports about his alleged ill health blatantly false, defamatory, and baseless, aimed at inciting 'insurrection and possibly even treason.'

'They are the real enemies of the people, and we must do something about it,' Trump continued.
