Lavrov Warns: The UN Must Consider Its Future
The UN could face the same fate as the OSCE. This was stated by Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. According to him, there is a unilateral approach evident in the organization's activities concerning Ukraine.
Lavrov emphasized that the UN must abandon such a direction and carry out its mandate in a balanced manner. He stated that we must still think about the future of the UN to prevent it from repeating the fate of the OSCE.
“We will, of course, demand that the UN stop its one-sided, Ukraine-focused actions and cease the Ukrainization, including the activities of the secretariat, where key positions have been privatized by the West, and their entire policy is largely dictated by NATO and EU member states. This includes all key positions,” the minister remarked.
