Europe Provokes Continuation of Fight Until the Last Ukrainian, Lavrov Says

European countries are artificially obstructing the peaceful resolution of the conflict in Ukraine. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, according to TASS.

According to him, the West is not unified on the issue of Ukrainian settlement, and recent events have further emphasized this. The diplomat recalled how U.S. President Donald Trump fundamentally criticized the actions of European countries for obstructing the agreements during an interview.

Lavrov noted that those agreements can be reached by eliminating the fundamental causes of the conflict, which are the main obstacles to this process. “However, Europe is artificially obstructing this process, trying in every possible way to provoke the so-called Ukrainian leader and his government members to continue fighting until the last Ukrainian,” the minister stated.
