Pashinyan's Visit to Send a New Signal: Details from the Prime Minister's Official Visit to Germany

Frank-Walter Steinmeier welcomed Nikol Pashinyan's official visit and emphasized his country's readiness to develop relations with Armenia. The President of Germany expressed confidence that the Prime Minister's visit would send a new signal to bilateral cooperation in all areas.
The Prime Minister thanked for the warm hospitality and noted that Germany is a key ally for Armenia at both the bilateral level and within the framework of EU partnership. According to the Prime Minister, both countries share a common commitment to human rights, democracy, and the rule of law, and Armenia and Germany actively cooperate in both bilateral and multilateral platforms.
The country's leader added that Armenia is also interested in elevating its partnership with Germany to a new level. The interlocutors discussed agenda items regarding bilateral relations. They exchanged views on the further expansion of Armenia-EU cooperation.
The interlocutors highlighted the significance of holding the European Political Community (EPC) summit in Armenia, noting it as an important platform for political dialogue with Europe. Issues related to the establishment of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan and other regionally significant topics were also addressed.
