Mixed Rain and Fog: Current Situation on Roads in Armenia

The Road Department informs that as of December 9 at 17:00, snow is falling in the area known as "Zanger" in the Sisian region, as well as in the Meghri and Vardenyats mountain passes. Additionally, a mixed rain and snow precipitation is reported on the Tatev-Agvani road.

There is dense fog in the Vardenyats mountain pass, with visibility ranging from 15 to 30 meters. Fog is also present on the roads in the regions of Masis, Baghramyan, Ejmiatsin, Armavir, Talin, and Ararat, where visibility is between 80 and 100 meters.

All interstate and national significance roads in Armenia are open. Road construction workers are actively carrying out snow clearing and sanding operations on the roads.
