The authors of the ranking emphasize that Trump continues to influence Europe’s domestic and foreign policy, reinterpreting several relationships on his terms. With this assessment, he has outpaced a number of European leaders.

In the ranking, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen took second place, while German Chancellor Friedrich Merz came in third.
