Details on the Arrest of 17-Year-Old Girls in Yerevan by the Ministry of Internal Affairs

Two 17-year-old girls have been arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Officers from the Malatia Community Police Division carried out measures that led to the discovery, and in collaboration with Police of the Guard, arrested the two girls around 3 AM on December 6 near one of the buildings in the Southwestern B-2 neighborhood.

During a personal search, they were found to possess 64 packets weighing a total of 61.19 grams. It was revealed that they had already distributed 16 packets in the Shengavit and Malatia-Sebastia administrative districts.

The prepared documents and the arrested individuals have been forwarded to the investigative body.
