We Will Pay Special Attention to Our Relations with Azerbaijan: Araqchi to Aliyev

The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, received a delegation led by Iran's Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araqchi. This information has been reported by Azerbaijani media.

Ilham Aliyev noted that the relations between Azerbaijan and Iran have a long history and expressed satisfaction with the recent activation of communications, mentioning that Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian's visit to Azerbaijan, as well as the mutual visits of other high-ranking officials, contribute to the further expansion of cooperation.

Aliyev declared that there is a joint agenda that encompasses numerous directions, with clear roadmaps established for all issues.

Araqchi conveyed President Masoud Pezeshkian's greetings to the Azerbaijani president. Araqchi emphasized that since taking office, Pezeshkian has instructed to pay special attention to the continuous development of relations with Azerbaijan.
