I Am Not the One to Comment on the Words of Catholicos Aram I, Says Prime Minister's Spokesperson

The Catholicos of Great House of Cilicia Aram I has issued a message calling for a distancing from attempts to divide the church, which he describes as harmful to the nation. He stated, 'We urge the authorities of Armenia to refrain from interfering in the internal life and issues of the Holy Etchmiadzin, as well as from unconstitutional actions that sow seeds of division within the church, which are unacceptable and condemnable steps that could lead our church, nation, and homeland to self-destruction.'
