Fighting Breaks Out on Thailand-Cambodia Border

Fighting is ongoing along the Thailand-Cambodia border, reports Khaosod. According to the publication, "Conflicts are taking place in several regions along the Thailand-Cambodia border." Thai military officials have indicated that Cambodia has used BM-21 rockets to target civilian areas in Buriram province.

Approximately 70 percent of the population has been evacuated from four border regions, with 35,623 individuals already registered in temporary shelters. Over 600 schools in the border areas have been temporarily closed. The President of the Cambodian Senate, Hun Sen, stated that Bangkok has been bombarding the country with all types of weapons since yesterday.
