Bayramov Comments on Recent Armenian-Azerbaijani Developments

Relations between Azerbaijan and Iran are progressing due to high-level visits and gaining new momentum. This was announced by Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at a joint press conference with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi.

“There are deep historical and religious roots between our countries and peoples. Azerbaijan has always been interested in seeing the development of Iranian-Azerbaijani relations in the spirit of friendship, and steps are being taken in this direction. In this regard, the year 2025 has become a very important year,” the minister stated.

He added that he had informed the guest in detail about the recent developments between Armenia and Azerbaijan. “I informed him about the restoration and construction works in the 'liberated from occupation territories,' as well as the return of more than 50,000 people there,” the minister noted.

It should be reminded that earlier, Jeyhun Bayramov stated that Armenia has no reason to reject Azerbaijan's proposal.
