Macron Presents Results of International Discussions on Ukraine to Zelensky

French President Emmanuel Macron announced on social media that he presented the results of international discussions regarding the cessation of hostilities in Ukraine to his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky.

"I reaffirmed our condemnation of Russia's new strikes. I indicated that my recent international discussions, particularly in China, helped clarify and advance the process," said the French president.

According to Macron, France is determined to work together with everyone to take measures to reduce tension and establish a ceasefire. "We will continue our coordination on Monday in London with Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Chancellor Friedrich Merz, in the context of recent discussions between Ukrainians and Americans. Europeans will undoubtedly become a crucial pillar for a fair and sustainable solution that we are building together," he concluded.
