Ministry of Justice Responds to Scandalous Incident at Nubarashen Penitentiary

A scandalous incident has occurred at the Nubarashen penitentiary of the Ministry of Justice of Armenia, which has been covered up by the Penitentiary Service. This was reported by 168.am.

The Ministry of Justice informed Auroranews that an internal investigation has been initiated to clarify the real circumstances of the incident.

It should be noted that the head of the operational department of the Nubarashen penitentiary, Karen Grigoryan, allegedly assaulted one of the regime's employees in his office, along with operational personnel (names are withheld for understandable reasons) and accompanied the beating with obscene insults.
