Putin on the Possibility of Immortality

In an interview with India Today, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that human life is finite, and eternity belongs only to God. He emphasized that it is too early to talk about summing up his life, as he still has many tasks ahead of him.

Putin commented on questions regarding the prospects of his life and political career. When responding to the journalist's remark about the possibility of achieving immortality, Putin noted, "Everyone is mortal; only God is eternal." He remarked that human existence has natural limits, and discussing an indefinite life in that context is baseless.

He added that it is still premature to assess the results of his life or actions. "I believe it is far too early to attempt to summarize my life in any way. Important work still awaits me," he said, stressing that he will continue to implement his plans and tackle the challenges facing the country.
