Individuals Exhaust Their Electric Vehicle Import Quota: What Decision Was Made?

The quota of 8,000 electric vehicles set for 2025 has been allocated as follows: 5,000 for individuals and 3,000 for legal entities and dealers. Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan has informed that the quota designated for individuals has already been exhausted, while that of the dealers has not.

“We are concerned that dealers may not be able to import that quantity, so to avoid losing our quota, we have made the following decision: we will recalculate and increase the number allocated to individuals by the amount remaining from the dealers' quota,” added Minister Gevorg Papoyan.
