Over 4800 Teachers Have Taken Advantage of Salary Increase Opportunity: Zhanna Andreasyan

In recent days, around 67.2% of the 7200 teachers who participated in voluntary certification in Armenia have passed the certification process. This was stated by Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan during a Q&A session in the National Assembly.

This year, more than 8400 teachers applied for participation, with over 7200 teachers taking part in the voluntary certification. "At this moment, not taking into account the results of the recent appeals, around 67.2% of participating teachers have passed the voluntary certification. This means that more than 4800 teachers have currently taken advantage of this opportunity for a salary increase. Moreover, most of these teachers are participating for the first time. Remembering that around 20% of teachers were already voluntarily certified, this means we are significantly expanding the circle of voluntarily certified teachers," said Andreasyan.
