How Much Will Citizens Pay for Health Insurance

The Minister of Health, Anahit Avanesyan, addressed the National Assembly regarding the health insurance system and detailed how much different groups will pay for insurance.

According to her, individuals earning 200,000 to 500,000 AMD will need to pay an annual fee of 129,600 AMD, which amounts to 10,800 AMD per month, and payments will be made on a monthly basis.

“The next aspect is the return of social credits under the physical declaration system. This means that the state will refund money for health from the paid income tax,” the minister noted.

According to her, those earning 500,000 to 1,000,000 AMD will pay 8,500 AMD, while those earning over 1,000,000 AMD will continue to pay 15,000 AMD.
