Over 8,000 Flights Canceled or Delayed in the U.S. Due to Severe Weather

In the United States, at least 8,000 flights have been canceled or delayed due to adverse weather conditions. According to data from the specialized platform FlightAware, on November 30, 7,460 flights were delayed, and an additional 664 flights were canceled.

Weather forecasters had previously warned of snow and cold weather in several states across the U.S. As reported by CBS News, the greatest number of delays and cancellations occurred at airports in Boston (Massachusetts), Detroit (Michigan), Minneapolis (Minnesota), New York, and Chicago (Illinois).
