Baku and Moscow Expand Agricultural Cooperation

Baku and Moscow are expanding their agricultural cooperation. The Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Azerbaijan discussed agricultural collaboration and the expansion of bilateral agricultural product supplies with the Minister of Agriculture of Russia.

The Russian side expressed interest in increasing and diversifying mutual supplies, primarily in grains, oilseed products, fish and seafood, as well as fertilizers. Special attention was paid to the development of crop production and seed production, which are considered key to ensuring food security and technological sovereignty for both countries.

Furthermore, the discussions addressed issues related to epidemic safety and the potential for expanding the supply of Russian veterinary products to the Azerbaijani market.
